SANCTIONS: Effective August 1, 2001

The National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) has made significant changes in the process for sanction applications which need NF approval (especially regarding filing dates and fees). These new procedures are effective August 1, 2001. Refer to the state website for the new procedures and forms:       

www.nysphsaa.org (click on Forms, then Sanctioning)

The process for sanction applications not needing NF approval is not changed. The thirty-day timeline remains and NYSPHSAA does not charge a fee. Refer to NYSPHSAA Handbook page 61-62 for additional information or call Lloyd Mott at the NYSPHSAA office 518-439-1556.
