ALREADY FINGERPRINTED??

If you have already been fingerprinted under S.A.V.E. legislation as a school district employee, or as a sports official in Section 5, you do not need to be fingerprinted again. Your clearance merely needs to be released by OSPRA (Office of School Personnel Review and Accountability) to Erie 1 BOCES. Please do the following to release your clearance:

Complete  three forms (available at Section 6 821-7299):

1.         OSPRA 102

2.         Affidavit    (Must be notarized)

3.         W-9 form

When the forms are received at the Section office, you will be indicated as "Clearance pending" on the Section 6 website and can officiate contests. When your clearance is received at Erie 1 BOCES, they will forward a copy to the Section VI office. At that point your status on the website will be upgraded to “Cleared” and you will be able to work unlimited contests at any member school within Section VI.

You must also have your photo taken at the Section VI office for your Official Photo ID. The equipment used to take your photo will generate a Section 6 ID # that is needed to receive payment for officiating.
